Sports
I have been a sports fan for as long as I can remember. Since I am from Dallas, Texas I am huge fan of the Mavericks, Rangers, Stars, and although tough at times a Cowboys fan. I actively keep up with sports by watching ESPN and sports games. Growing up I was a fan of the Texas Longhorns and am proud to be a Longhorn. I grew up playing football, baseball and basketball. Sports has played a very big part on my life, it has taught me discipline and to respect others. I also learned that nothing is given to you and that everything you want must be earned through dedication, sacrifice and hard work. Sports has also taught me how to be a great team player and how a great team is successful. I have met my closet friends through sports and it also has allowed me to improve my networking and interpersonal skills. My foundation for being a self motivator, hard working individual and my desire to never give up was built through sports.
Intramural Sports
Sports has always been a a part of my life, so I knew once I got to The University of Texas at Austin I was going to play intramural sports. I played flag football, basketball, and softball my first year at UT. I ended up winning 5 intramural champion shirts and one all university shirt. Currently for this past school year I've played flag football, volleyball and basketball. I won one intramural champion shirt in co-ed flag football. I hope to continue to participate in intramural sports and win more intramural champion shirts.
Travel
I have always loved to travel with my family and friends and I've been fortunate enough to have been able to travel. My first traveling experience was to South Korea when I was just a child. But I remember eating delicious food, getting to visit all my relatives and the most amazing experience of the trip, ice fishing. I've also visited Chicago, and California with the Korean Olympic Dallas team. I am a big fan of road trips and have taken a road trips to Florida, Chicago and California. My family has an annual trip that we take to Mexico every summer and stay at the Grand Mayan resort. Mexico is a city with a rich history and an amazing country to visit. I got to visit Cchichen itza an ancient Mayan city.Traveling is something I hope I get the opportunity to do in the future.
